DCI combines their business methodologies and technical expertise to transform business processes and operations into mission-effective, net-centric solutions. We have extensive knowledge in business management, defense logistics, decision support systems, asset management, enterprise business applications and e-business portals.
SEI CMM and SEI CMMI ParticipationDCI has been a subcontractor to CSC's Aerospace Information Technologies Organization since 1989. During that period, CSC's Aerospace Information Technologies organization received a SW-CMM Level 5 in February 1999 for sustainment and modernization of the U.S. Air Force Materiel Command's Stock Control System (SCS). The SCS proved invaluable during the 1991 Gulf War and continues to support Air Force mobile deployments worldwide. Our engineers currently participate on CSC's technology teams supporting the SCS program and other CSC-primed software engineering programs, such as Weapon System Management Information System (WSMIS), Enterprise Support - Supply (ES-S), and Purchase Request Process System (PRPS), that utilize the SEI CMM level 5 key practices. DCI's software engineers focus on applying systematic, disciplined, and quantifiable approaches to the development, operation, and maintenance of software. CSC is in the process of obtaining SEI CMMI Level 3 status in June 2005. DCI will continue to follow the practices required of CSC's leadership.
